About Us

East Point Adult Day Care Center is the largest adult day care center on the North Shore.

Our program is designed to help elderly and disabled adults maintain their independent living and avoid moving to a nursing home. Full day medical supervision and assistance with daily activities helps our clients remain in the community. Socializing with peers and participating in our cultural and educational activities improves their emotional and spiritual health. Our multilingual staff provide nursing personal care and social work services, and arrange provision of on-site services by physical, occupational, and speech therapists, physicians, and other health care providers.

Our brand new state of the art 13,000 sq. ft. facility with a gym, game rooms, rest areas, bathing areas, computers and personal treatment areas is open 6 days a week to offer the widest array of activities under supervision of qualified nursing staff to maintain quality of life of our participants and prevent their institutionalization.

Our mission is to serve the unique needs of the Hispanic and Latino populations of Salem and its neighboring communities to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each participant. To provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where adults can experience meaningful connection, compassionate care, and daily enrichment. We believe in honoring the individuality, dignity, and life stories of every participant. Through social interaction, creative activities, and personalized support, we aim to enhance emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being.   • Skilled nursing staff help manage diabetes, provide cardiac and blood pressure monitoring, manage and administer medications, and provide catheter & colostomy care. Nursing assistance also provide personal care services- including hygiene, showers, nail and hair care, & more.
  • Rehabilitation department- including physical, occupational and speech therapy- aimed to help with balance, walking, falls prevention, swallowing, tremors, memory, balance & more
  • Therapeutic activities program- including Bingo, fitness, yoga, zumba, music, arts and crafts, & more- aimed to combat feelings of loneliness and grief
    Social workers help with arranging social assistance programs, counseling, depression management, & more.
  • Registered dietician and kitchen staff provide nutritional services, weight management, and specialized diets- including heart healthy diet, low-sugar diet, & more.
  • Additional services include podiatry and eye exams, concerts, excursions, shopping trips, free unlimited international video calls, birthday and holiday celebrations, citizenship exam preparation classes, religious services, and wheelchair-accessible professional transportation to and from your home.
